We happened to drive by the scene earlier today - the police had cordoned off the area and were redirecting traffic. It was explained that this was a domestic dispute and that a father-in-law and son-in-law were involved in a long term dispute that ended in this tragedy. This was not a "tourist" incident, a person involved may have been visiting the island, but there are definite marital and family issues involved. This did not occur at any resort property.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those effected by the events - tragedies like this are life changing for those involved.

Thanks for the info Rob. Sorry if this thread has upset or frightened anyone that was not my intent. I was just looking for more info on the situation. My prayers are with the people involved in this tragic situation.
