Beachcomber Club...Anyone stayed there??

I was talking with a friend on my return flight from Negril about Beachcomber Club. I never hear anything about it. It looks like a great property with awesome rooms and decent rates.....Has anyone stayed there? I'm seriously thinking about booking it for part of My April trip. Thanks!

We have stayed at the beachcomber our last two visits. Good location on the beach. We never got the meal plan, have heard a few complaints about amount prepared. Like most Jamaican smaller resorts, it is clean but has it's problems. We had water pressure problems this last time[xmas thru new years] We get the two bedroom apt. because we like a full sized refigerator,microwave, stove, coffee maker. The living room, dining room, balcony----very roomy. Hugh bathrooms with each bedroom, usually one elec. outlet hidden somewhere in it. Wonderfull staff.

Thanks for the info....The water issue was all up and down Negril..(I just returned Monday..I was without water several times) that doesn't bother me. I have stayed all over just never at Beachcomber, and it looks nice online..I also know not to expect exactly what you see online...lol
