I wouldn't bother buying a membership unless you plan to shop there more than once a month and purchase in bulk. Depending on what you purchase the credit is between 1-3% and membership is approx. 1500J.
I wouldn't say they're a lot cheaper than Hi Lo as some items will be cheaper while others may be more expensive....but what Mega Mart offers more of is variety.
