    OBS,

You are coming on vacation - you are reading direct, first hand trip reports from people who are here and have been here and there is no mention of any water pollution. None! ZERO! There is limited water pressure at times - since you have been here 5 times before you have experienced the low water pressure before. You will not notice anything different than you have in the past.

I hate to be so blunt, but you really do need to take a chill pill - being overly paranoid is no way to go through life man....

Your vacation will be fine and enjoyable if you simply let it - please allow yourself to enjoy it.

Forgot to mention what a hotelier on the deep West End mentioned to me this morning, he said the situation must be improving all over as there are far less water trucks on the road....

It is simple reasoning, the fewer the water trucks on the road means the less of a call for their services... the pressure may be low, but the water is flowing in the system.

Thanks Rob I have to agree with you. Once I'm there I'm sure everything will be ire as usual. It's just the few post I've read here about people's negative experiences that set me off in the wrong direction. I should just stop reading go with the flow. I never had a bad time in Jamaica and I'm sure this time won't be any different. Just have to chill.

I just got back from a beach stay and I had no issues with water the entire time.

Just back from a beach stay, and 5 of our 10 nights the water was off from around 8 PM to around 6 AM. No problems at other times. People we know in the hills (Green Island) apparently had water only when it was turned off in Negril.

There was some rain in the past week, so maybe that is helping with the drought.
