Couple of really good pieces of advice in this thread.

Rob's mention that sand in the sunlight and sand at the waterline should be safe to walk on. Hearsay only, but I have been told that the larvae can not survive in sand above a certain temp and that sand exposed to sunlight is above that temp.

Falling coconuts as mentioned by Rob & Captaind amongst others. As a driver I learned years ago do not park under a coconut tree they will take a windshield out quickly. That advice also works on Breadfruit trees,,,,, not as high of a fall, but a pretty large projectile.

Both points might lead to the advice, walk your property when you arrive and note drop zones.
