Can anyone tell me about Wild Parrot? I travel to Negril often and would like to try a new place to stay. It seems to be very reasonable. I have stayed at Home Sweet Home, White Sands, and SeaStar in the past? How does the Wild Parrot compare? Do they have safes in the room? Also, does anyone know when the March spring break show is? Any info would be helpful......

The WP is a nice place to visit. I am a cliff dweller, and when I want some beach time, I take a cab to the WP. The Manager there, Torol (I believe this is how she spells her name) is a wonderful person and a delight to know. The Bar is very nice and drinks are good and reasonably priced as is the food menu. The cottages look nice and well maintained, but I haven't been inside any of them. If they are cared for as well as the rest of the place is, and are as nice on the inside as they are on the out, they should be nice. The WP is a short walk west of margaritaville. I do know that several owners of other businesses in Negril like to hang out there from time to time, which says something to me. If I were to spend a few days beach side, I would likely stay there.
I also am interested to know whether there are safes in the rooms. I don't think anyone answered that in the other thread. I believe there are no TV's in the rooms. Is that correct?
Hi...there are no safes in the rooms. It is a safe property and I didnt have any worries with not having one...but I understand that people like to have them. I believe all rooms have good solid doors with bolt locks, and all windows have the thick wooden louvres.....so getting in wouldnt be so easy.
