Travelled to Treehouse with a couple of Newbies and their initial fears of crime in Negril were quickly erased. One day upon realizing she had forgotten her wallet in her unmade bed she ran back to the room to a freshly made bed complete with a flower arrangement and her wallet on the dresser with everything intact. She has just now called me to relate how the Treehouse front desk just called to tell her she had forgotten a small box of jewellery. Now gotta figure out the best way to get it to Montreal. For every petty crime in Negril I bet their are thousands of good deeds and acts of kindness that go unheralded. Well done Treehouse. Gotta love Negril!

We lost a scuba fin on the road leading to the Pelican Bar 4-5 years back. We lost in the "woods" next to the road as hubby put it down when he took a leak.
Realized it was missing when we packed to go home the next day (with no time to spare).
Not like the Pelican Bar has a phone - so I went on the board. By the time we got back to Wisconsin, we heard that one of the AWESOME boat drivers for the Pelican Bar found it and was hanging on to it. Another Boardie in JA got it and brought it to her office, about 30 minutes from my office. BIG bottle of rum to her for being the hero.
This goes to show you: 1. There are a LOT of really honest people out there 2. This board ROCKS. 3. What a small world!!!
