    AJ out of Philly

Has anyone flown AJ out of Philly when the flight is operated by Sun Country? SC tells me they don't fly Philly and Cheap Caribbean tells me AJ probably chartered the flight and you have to check in with SC but they have no counter in Philly.

I've flown out of Philly on that flight twice now and it's always been AJ. However I just booked that flight again for December and I think it's going to be Caribbean Airlines although my eticket says AJ. So not sure when it's ever been Sun Country??

I fly it all the time too. Know about Caribbean Air but SC is a separate airline. I can't seem to get an answer.

Trish , I think you should double check as I live in Philly and have never seen a Sun Country counter or plane at at Philly I for that matter. I always fly JM to Jamaica . I do know this as of 01 JUL Air Jamaica (JM) will be flying under new codes . The new code will be BW the flight numbers will remain the same. So JM 44 will be BW 44 as of Friday . Check airjamaica.com for the banner .

I also noticed when I was checking for an AJ flight of Phila on the Ita site that under "flight details" it lists sun country. I have no idea what that means. I"m hoping to be on an Aj flight out of Phila within the next week or 2 and I'm going with the assumption that I'll be checking in at the Air Jamaica terminal. If not I"m sure someone will steer me in the right direction. Just wish the flights weren't so expensive!

Thanks for your replies. Yesterday I gott an e mail with a flight change, instead of flight 44 and 45' they are 244 and 245, operated by AIR JAMAICA, so who knows what the other was all about. We have flown 44 and 45 for 20 years. It's a mystery!
