I usually tip housekeeping $3-$5 a day, I do it daily because the same one that did the room all week might be off on the day we leave. I also try and bring a few small things to leave wit the tips, like chocolate, small bottles of lotion, nail polish etc. The housekeepers no matter where we have stayed have been fantastic. I usually tip the bartenders a dollar or 2 where we stay a couple of times a day and others depending on how long we are at their establishment. And waitstaff even though they usually have an automatic tip on the bill, I leave them a few dollars too.
