Cool Good places to eat close to The Palms

Since our plans have changed and we are staying at The Palms wondering where are good places to eat close by? We generally stay more in the middle of the beach and are not as familiar with this end of the beach. Please help!!

Think you'll find the Palms to be about middle. Check out Seasplash,Sheretas,Treehouse and CountryCountry for mid range. Aunties for patties and a few picnic tables for sit down meal. Of course the always great Ossies right across the road from you for jerk chicken and pork. Margaritaville is close and not as bad as some people make out. Sun Beach has dining on the beach with live music every couple of days. Dennis will take care of you. A nice walk north past the AIs is Cosmos, a local favourite. You won't starve!

Right next door is Ossie's Top Taste (many of us call it Miss Madge's) which is on the beach road on the same property as Donaldson's Inn and Miss Lena's Inn Ting which is the small restuarant on the beach. Miss madge's is a great spot for dinner. She has excellent fried Red Snapper and if you like chop suey you can't go wrong. Also across the road is Ossie's Jerk Centre where you can get excellent Jerk Pork (my favorite) and Jerk chicken for lunch and dinner. Both places are a great value and since you are at the Palms, very convenient. Another spot close by is Cool Spot which is within easy 5 minute wander. Good food, great value. We'll be at Donaldson's two weeks from tomorrow.............can't wait.

Miss Lena's Inn Ting is right next door on the beach. They have good breakfast and fresh squeezed orange juice at a reasonable cost. They open about 7:00-7:30 every day.

I also like pilots cafe (which I think is now called Annies). It is on the road almost next door to the palms. I like their fry chicken.
