I use the same driver or two & tell him to watch my back. If you go to a club and are a bit uneasy, pay his admission and bring him in the club with you. Buy him a beer. No one will mess with you. The locals all know one another. The driver will wait for you at the club if you tell them to. If they do, then pay them at the end of your trip. Treat him with respect but be firm. In my experience, the majority of drivers are good people trying to make a living under difficult circumstances.
