ja next week

well i havent posted much about my trip this year - i leave on wednesday - and thats because although i am coming to ja for part - i dont think i will make it to negril..

As some may remember, i met a nice woman in Negril last year, and have gone to visit her a few times since.. Well, knowing that my GF has never been ANYWHERE - i started thinking about where we might go together, someplace that would be new - to both of us.. not wanting to mess with tourist visa applications, i looked in to countries she coud visit without a visa - just a passport. Turns out there are a quite a number of places.. the problem is transportation because there are very few flights out of Ja that dont go through the USA, which requires a visa..

i narrowed it down to Panama - which I know nothing about, but looks pretty and hotels are very reasonable.. and only a 1hr 50 min direct flight from Kingston.

so wednesday i fly into Kingston Ja, where i will meet my Girl Friend, and spend the night at the Knutsford Court Hotel. we get to spend the day in Kingston, and fly out to Panama thursday night about 6pm.. 5 nights in panama, then fly back to Kingston, where we will travel over to Ochi and stay a 3 more nights, going to dunns falls and other things that i rarely get to do, since i rarely get to the eastern side of the island..

I will miss my Febuary trip to Negril though - however i did visit Negril on 4 seperate trips last year - so i suppose some variety wont hurt..

hopefully this post has enough about ja to not get erased from the board... : )
