It's been too long

My wife and I have been to Negril 11 times beginning in 1989. Unfortunately it's been a number of years since our last visit so we are very excited about our upcoming trip - will be there 2/22 to 3/3. Since we haven't been or awhile we are needing some updates. We always enjoyed patties at Miss Sonia's and also from Niah. Are both still around and where might we find them? Also we always enjoyed going to Salina's. I understand that she has returned to Canada but maybe Big Roy is still operating??? A highlight of prior trips was always a nice dinner at Rock House. Can anyone comment on if they are still a great place to go or provide other suggestions? Our first trip was our honeymoon and we stayed at Crystal Waters - we've been there once since and returning again this trip. Very excited and can't wait. Two weeks and we'll be back. Any comments will be helpful and appreciated.

Great news, enjoy your trip. Niah's and Miss Sonia are still serving patties. Niah's is in Wave park and Miss Sonia on the beach road. Big Roy is at the same place with a Sun. brunch and music I believe. As for the dinner, depends on what you are looking for...romance, atmosphere, great food. So many restaurants, so little time.

Thanks for the responses. I have a great little coconut shell Rasta face carving that Niah did several years ago and am looking forward to locating both him and Miss Sonia. Don't know what the bar crawl is but I'm sure it would be great fun. How do you sign up? Also thinking about a day trip to Rhoads Hall for snorkeling. Never been there but recent posts make it sound like a great day. Soon come.

Niah is still at the same place. He is such a wonderful guy and is still cooking his backside off! He made a great necklace for me many years ago that I still wear..a coconut shell carving that is truly one of a kind. Every trip, I always make sure to visit he and his wife...great folks indeed. I would definitely recommend snorkeling at Rhodes Hall. Really a nice place, kicked back and such nice reefs to discover. Enjoy your trip to the max!! BTW, sign up for the pub crawl..good times fi sure!
