So there is one more day, but this is a non drinking day as I am flying out at 8:15 pm.
Started off the day with another of them western omlettes at Xtabi, they are really good!
I figure I will start out with a little sun time on one of them lounge chairs over by the cliffs.
I have a few things to do before I leave, like change some money and make one pass down the beach. I always change money before i leave for the next trip. I have officially pushed back my checkout until two, but am going to try and milk an extra hour out.
I walk down the west end road soakin up the view all the way, exchange comments with the usual cast of characters along the way.
I notice it seems to be little quieter on the road than usual.
Finally caught up with Connie, have not seen her all week either, she says she was around but I never saw when passing by, we talked for a while and got caught up.
I made a stop by Susan,s bar "Natura Mystic" I felt bad I never got in a night visit for some Redstripe and the conversation. Susan has started an expansion to her bar as she needs more exposure to the road, for any one that has been there you know what I mean.
After a grand tour and getting filled in on the plans, I have a video to show the location, will gget that up tonight.
Finally make it to the cambio, by the roundabout all locked up! "change money" "change money"!!!!
Nomon! I say I was ripped by you guys before! Not me they reply, so the cambio is closed because its "hash wenesday"as every Jamaican calls it, lol
So I catch a route taxi down to Bourbon Beach as that cambio is closed too. "change money" "change money" I explain again about being ripped before, so I get the dude to hand me the Ja dollars and I count it three times very carefully before giving up that $100 crisp plastic Canadian bill! lol
Too funny though as I am finishing up ( I would not recomend this to any one ever, I shoulda went to the chinaman store, they give good rate too) so this white dude with a pony tail comes over "heymon you didnt give me the right amount! "
Any way I got out of there laughin a little as there was the proof why you dont change money on the road!
