So far I am pretty well liking the merger with Airtran and Southwest, one thing being that I can exchange SW points for Airtran A+ rewards, which gets me free flights to/from Jamaica!

It has changed some of the routings and I can't always see what I am looking for, but giving them time to settle out more.

I have about 40000 SW points. How many A+ rewards does a flight cost?

    They only transfer at .25-1

We have only 2 major airlines in Canada making for expensive flying, especially if you are not close to a major hub like Toronto or Montreal. I live in the east but always have to go west before I can go south. Frustrating

    I read it was 1200 points = 1) A+ Reward. 8 A+ = one way flight

I have a ton in e-vouchers that were going to pay for my/my hub's Christmas trip. Hoping the e-vouchers still work!

Me too. Free glass of champagne was a nice way to start the trip. Air caribbean is not a bad flight from JFK just no champagne. Seats seem roomier than other airlines.

They pulled out of Philly. Last November was our first trip on a non air-Carribean/air jamaica trip. We got the call in late spring that we had to fly us air instead. All in all, it was not a horrible experience, but they were so many extras with the air jamaica flights, it seemed like a part of the vacation itself. Always enjoyed hearing the accent when we first boarded the plane.
