Taxi at Point Village

Does anyone know of a good driver that hangs around the Point Village area as a home base. I am sure we will need a driver more than once on our one week vacation in late March early April?
Does anyone know how long of a walk it is out to Norman Manly Hwy to catch a route taxi?

It's a 10 minute leisurely walk to NM blvd. You'll probably be accosted by taxi drivers when you get near the gate to Hedo and Breezes.

N8urist, Thanks for the estimated distance in time to Norman Manly. The walk doesn't sound bad at all, except for the accosted part

When we used to stay at PV, there were often lots of guys hanging out in the lane to Norman Manley. Many of them were not red plate drivers. They were always respectful though when we said "no thanks".
