March events/music

I know there was a thread about March events some time ago but seemed not much info. The events we see posted on the Negril site only seem to go a week-10 days out. Is it that they just don't book much in advance, or maybe it's just that communication is also on "island time"? Can anyone enlighten us? Thanks!!
