maybe i am tempting fate, but i dont even use the room safes anymore.. always take my notebook, and ipad, and $$$ camera, i dont even lock up passports.. no problems..

Since there are so many places without safes we have been looking at a Pacsafe.

Jim and I have the pacsafe. It is a good product. That way even if the room does not have a safe, you do !

Hard to know if there are exposed water pipes in the hotel one is going to....that would be a potential "anchor" for the pacsafe.
