    Re: Birthday Cake

i got one for a friend last year from Treehouse. The baker has a list of type and sizes to choose from. Asked about at breakfast, and at 2 pm we picked it up. Was delish - not fancy - but a nice homemade birthday perfect!

Talking about birthday cakes I have a funny story. A couple of years ago when it was my girlfriends birthday we were having her birthday diner where we were staying and I asked them to get a birthday cake for her birthday that was a couple of days away. So the workers were right on it and asked if I wanted a regular or large, chocolate or vanilla and I ordered for a large chocolate. We had made lots of friends where we were staying and were going to share the large chocolate cake with them. Well the next day as I was going to my room and I get passed by a worker with the delivery for the kitchen and there in with all of the kitchen supplies are 2 boxes of Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix. I guess if I ordered the regular cake I would have only got 1 box of cake mix.

Anyways the cake was fine, not dry at all and had a great birthday party for Dolly.
