Sorry I'm late for the "race report"~Been trying to figure out how to post pics from the last weekends race.The pics was taken from the track photo person.So i don't I can transfer the pics from her web site to here.If interested you can look on my FB acct. or go to dancermotorsports.com to there photo part of the web site. to Cotton Bowl Speedway pics.Anyway,this was the 1 st race of the year i was expecting a good car count and a very dry track.DUe to the 30-50 mph winds we have been having a cold weather.Well the track wasnt dry it was tacky and rough as hell.Oh well,all is well!~The heat race I started 2nd row inside of the 1st heat race.So the green flag dropped,it was time to move!!!~I;m an agressive driver,so I dont like staying in the 2nd postion long,so on the back straightaway i past the other 2 cars.then I took over the lead and kept it~So I won the heat race,so that will put me starting on the pole for the Feature(thats the main race)~So,i start pole,green flag drops and the bull chit stops!!!~I jumped out to the lead ran about 3 laps,i moved my line up a little then a car (i knew was fast) stuck his nose under me for about 2 laps so I races him and secured the postion and moved my line back down and held it there.The feature races are 20 laps.I was never challenged for the lead after that.So the white flag comes out still leading then the checkered flag dropped.I had a hell of a lead on the 2nd place car!!~So as soon as I crossed the checkered flag,i was thinking to myself,This is going to make Rob and Lisa happy!!!~I was thinking about right now they are party and having fun with some of our negril.com family and frens new and old.So after i went through tech,all is well,simple after race tech.so i drive over to our trailer.take my hel,et off and gloves.I get out of my car and my dad and my other buddy are just standing there.I wipe the dirt from my eyes and focus on what i'm looking at.There's my ole dad and buddy staring at me with rasta hats with dreads.I LMAO on that one.I simply told them "once ya'll go then ya'll when know!!!"~Look what it did to me!!!~So thank you Rob and Lisa and the whole Negril.com family~So the next race is Saturday nite.Chance of rain.but it doesnt rain here in South Texas,so im not counting on getting rained out.I just wish how i could get these pics up on here.So again thanks Negril.com and Jamaica Tourist Board.Till next week thanks for checking us out at Negril.com Motorsports!!!

very cool, vince...spent many saturday nights in the pits and the stands at the ole dirt tracks in georgia....had a couple of buddys who raced back a few years ago...nice photos...love the old stock class cars, they dont mind rubbin a little paint, good for the fans...bad for the pocketbook of the owners...lol
