many times under stress.... minutes can seem to be hours.......personally as a ex law enforcement officer, and knowing somewhat the "runnins" in Jamaica, I no doubt that length of time to be possibly stretched a bit from what really happened- maybe not? just my opinion.......either way I would assume the remains would be under cover and away from "prying" eyes, and the family sheltered close by..........
sad anywhere for sure-God Bless Him
"One of the laundry gals pipes up ,,"LOOK AT DA BLOOD"
"YES,THAT WOULD BE MINE" I said as my leg that at first gave no pain, started dishing it out in large bunches........"

For a part of the Island that was the last to get rolling more or less andwith the monies available to spend they are making big strides...not that long ago IT WAS a sleepy little fishing village.......
We are use to having The Finest Medical services at our beck and call........(in 1984 we spent two days looking for gauze compress and tape....)...they have came a long way, and no doubt will continue togo forward....but with money tight things do wait their turn, sometimes unfairly....But seeing the progress they have made since we have been watching is amazing, actually much faster then it took place in the US for the early years.......
Talk about what you know and not heard, a death of a natural cause is not fodder for the rumor mill
What I posted came from a very reliable source that has worked on the property for many, many years and has no reason to lie to me.

It was VERIFIED the ambulance was in a garage when this happened, I confirmed this with a high-rank member of the JCF in Westmoreland.

Maybe you should talk what YOU know, MON.

Maybe the Coroner needed to attend the scene before the body could be removed. That's how it works in Ontario Canada and sometimes the coroner can take forever to arrive or so it seems at the time.

Negril has Ambulance service but if the Ambulance is constantly IN A GARAGE what good is it? I mean, I understand vehicles break down/need to undergo maintenance as I'm stationed at US Army Ft. Dix as a mechanic and have experience in this BUT you would think a major tourist destination such as Negril would have a one-for-one backup like many rescue squads here in the states have.

Negril needs a Hospital, It's ironic because the Negril Beach Club/Mariners Beach Club was originally intended to be the Negril Hospital years ago when the place was constructed.

That's 100% understandable, I agree with you that it's proper procedure to wait for the coroner but it's the Ambulance issue that makes no sense.

Where did you hear the ambulance is constantly in the garage? A little odd considering it's a relatively new vehicle and we see it regularly driving around town going to emergencies. And, there's hundreds of people in this forum who have witnessed it with us during the webcasts. How would this be possible if it's constantly in the garage?

And, I don't see any excuses being made...I just see some people actually understanding the logistics of medical care in a developing country. This isn't the States/a first world country.

Tell me, Why did the JCF inform those involved it has been in the garage?

So, Are you saying the JCF lied and told the family/those involved that the Ambulance was garaged when in reality it's been driving around the whole time? I find that strange...

If the Ambulance just so happened to be out of service that day, Don't you think a second Ambulance should be stationed in Negril?

A lot of things about Jamaica involving the authorities make little to no sense, Maybe this is one of them!
