    US Warship in MoBay

Went from Negril to MBJ to pick up some friends. Actually we went in via route taxi and returned with a bus. Route taxi (car) picked us up in Negril at the Point Village turn. Car had 3 seats and when we piled in, we made 5. Route Taxi took us to the taxi park in Lucea. Nice conversation with the locals and even had the lady in the back signing for us. We then piled into a 15 seat bus with 20 people inside and started off for MoBay. Made it about 10 feet before stopping and picking up number 21. Our Negril driver, (who had a full load going in but could bring us back) met us at the taxi park in MoBay. If anybody has a chance to do that, I would highly recommend it. Probably will be put on the list of memorable things we've do in Jamaica.

Any way. Going through MoBay I could help but notice no passenger ship at the cruise dock. After a closer look, there was a large warship parked there. Looked like a US amphibious transport. The ones with a full detachment of Marines and hovercraft.

Has anybody heard or seen anything about this????
