Is it possible to walk in the water past the mangroves that separate the two? If not do you need shoes to walk on the path?

You can swim around in some parts, but not walk, shoes or flip flops are better on the path, but it can be done in bare fett.

Thanks PGW. Got such a great deal on Seashore Bay that we could not pass it up but we still want to wander the main beach.
The whole path is sand...but there is lots of broken glass and other debris around in that section so flip flops at a minimum would be suggested.![]()

FD, we were on the One Love bus with you last March. This year we are coming in on the day you are leaving.
Thanks for the info.
I walk the path in bare feet. It's not ideal, but I'm careful, it's not so long, and I choose bare feet to carrying flip flops or wearing water shoes for the rest of the walk. The more troubling part of the path to me is one not so nice guy that hangs in the trees there by the water. He remembers me each year and scares me a bit. I'm not easily intimidated, but he is a little unpredictable, and there is not always someone around.
