would have to depend what you are looking for. I am looking for a reasonably priced place for a month, and there is a good selection out there. Perhaps the best priced ones I have run across is Summerset Village. I haven't stayed there before, but they do have some really good long term rental rates, so you might want to contact them yourself.
Whats your price range, what do you want in your room and where-beach or cliffs?

If you are looking in the beach area the prices will be higher than the cliffs. I stay at Golden Sunset (across the road from Alfred's) and I'm sure that they would give you a fair price for a 3-4 month stay. They have both A/C and non A/C available and they include a shared kitchen with full fridge and stove. You can call Jenny and ask her about it (819-957-4241).

On West End Road, there are some cottages across from Le Mirage that some friends stayed in earlier this year they said were reasonable for their 6-month stay. Is about midway between Negril Escape and Catcha Falling Star. Has huge grounds behind a stone wall. Their cottage was huge with 2 bedrooms, but there are smaller ones too.
The lady who manages Le Mirage hotel also manages those cottages - you could contact her thru the hotel website.

apartment over hilow on westend is really reasonable. from 35000JD~60000JD/month. Kitchen, AC, TV cable, security, furnished, hot water, one king size bed downstair and 2 single beds on loft. It was really nice when I looked inside last timeEach apartment is owned by different owner so some upgraded and some need to be fixed. you should check inside before you decide which room. I would not recommend to decide only by price!!!
Another apartment is behind Value Master(across from burger king). 1000USD and up. owners seem related to NBCC. furnished 2 bed room apartment. It is big aprtment complex reminding me of apartment of USA. NICE
It is much cheaper than the life of beach and cliff location.
