Learned so much here, but one more question.

My husband and I leave for Negril in just three more sleeps. I have already learned so much here from all of you wonderful people. I am so excited for our first trip to Negril.

I do have just one more question:

We are staying on the beach but want to spend a couple of days at the cliffs. We would spend money on lunch and beverages wherever we go. We don't want to go to Rick's Cafe and I've already contacted Catcha Falling Star to see if they allow visitors during the day. They don't. We'll see the resort when we have dinner there. Do any of the west end resorts allow day visitors?

I owe so much to the people on this board for helping to plan my vacation. I promise a trip report when I return. Thanks everyone.

We spent a wonderful day at Xtabi snorkelling and sunning. We ordered drinks while we were there, they didn't mind at all that we were hanging out. Beautiful location too!

Xtabi is a great place on the cliffs to spend the day.
Negril Escape is another great location

Both are very welcoming of outside visitors, have a drink, some lunch, and stay the day and play!

    Have fun!

nice vibe at Xtabi for sure....

there is also a hammock "park" of sorts ...with a bar far down the on the west end, not sure if they serve food though and what about that "look" out bar near Catcha?????

I would strongly recommend Xtabi as well.

    Wild cliff diving......
    And the famous "Xtabi rock".......
Great chairs, no hassles and no worries about your stuff as you swim.

Just stayed at Xtabi a few weeks back and was surprised how many day visitors they get day after day!
Negril Escape is a good spot too!

Everyone is exactly correct, Xtabi has always been very accomadating to outside visitors to come and spend the day swimming and relaxing. You buy some drinks etc. and all is good.
