    You guessed correctly!
The ones that I got stung by were just little, transparent "blobs" that you didn't really see until you were among them. The bigger jellyfish are pretty easy to spot and you can manouver around them easily.

If that happens while in negril, save some in a cup...the urine helps with the sting....if it happens on your leg, the point and shoot method works, any higher on the body, then you gotta pour and wipe...lol...

Urine on a jellyfish sting is a myth. I'm sure "locals" all over the globe have a good laugh at tourists when they tell them it will help with a jellyfish sting.

Take some Adolph's meat tenderizer. If you get stung apply the tenderizer. It has papaya enzymes in it that will break down the poison....

In Florida the lifeguards use vinegar. The acid neutralizes the sting. (or so they claim!)

Check out Tender's After Sting http://www.tendercorp.com/products.p...ATMENTS&cat=58 They make several products that are useful, especially After Bite "The itch eraser." It really does erase the itch if applied quickly after the mosquito bite. I travel with both when in Jamaica and have had occassion to use them both. Marblehead rates them 5 out of 5 Respects!
