I thought I might try renting a scooter when I stay on the cliffs. Not sure of the price. Wondering if it will be worth it. I would love to hear from any scooter riders out there.

Not a scooter rider here, but a motorcycle rider back home. I'd be very careful if you do rent one. Any 2 wheel vs 4 wheel accident isn't going to be any fun. At a minimum get a decent full face helmet from the place you rent the scooter from. You can live with skin grafts, brain damage is a little tougher.

Other than that, I think it would be a blast. Quick, easy, cheap transportation. I'd rent one if my fiance would even consider riding on one with me. She has been to too many fatals to even think about it, so I don't blame her.

I've been riding/renting a Honda Shadow here for the 20 year visits without incidents...ever. First you get used to driving on the left first & just use common sense. Hell. I was hit...stoped at a stop sign from the front 4 doors from my home in the states by the neighbor kid yakking on her cell...dumb ass!! I always rent from Prento on the beach road..call again to put one on the side & always get a great rate..here's his cell#1-876-412-8607

We have rented scooters, and bicycles from GAS Bike Rental, between Blue Cave Castle and Home Sweet Home on the cliffs. Nice equipment. Gas is a great guy.
