    which beach in Falmouth

long time/many time negril traveler so am spoiled by the beach. will be in Falmouth with family for a day off the cruise ship. just trying to ensure we don't pick a rocky type beach. we have narrowed down to1) burwood which is the public beach but we dont see any mention of a restaurant or bar 2) duncans bay beach but this is a private beach so not sure if we can get in. and 3) time and place which has a $10 cover (we have 6).
    any suggestions?
    thanks,

T&P beach is great, but $60.00 before you grab a beer is a little strong. Food is hit or miss, wave action MAY prevent you from enjoying the beach and it's right next to N Resort. So if you don't want to expose any of the others to nudity---

Burwood is lovely, there is a small bar there. You can also walk along to the left and Chukka have a bar and food available on cruise ship days. If you decide to walk in the shallows towards the mangroove (right as you face water)watershoes would be good. It's a little rocky on that stretch and urchins. otherwise quite flat and sandy. You could always stock up at one of the supermarkets or pick up some box meals in Falmouth before heading to Burwood I'm sure TAwill have reviews and photo's of Burwood

Duncans Bay beach is not private. There is one bar/restaurant on the beach called Leroy's and there is a restroom there for customers. I have not seen any facilities for renting chairs or showers or anything as the people who use that beach mostly live or stay locally.

I've heard Leroy's has showers but more for fishermen, not really developed for tourists. As I stay nearby I just go back to my place to shower so not sure.

Silver Sands beach IS private and is adjacent to Duncans Bay beach, separated by a wall and some craft stands.

It is lovely, white sand, very few rocks in the swimming area. There's a little bench and palapa to home base from.
