Re: Seashore Bay Resort or Sunset at the Palms
We stayed at Sunset in 2011 and are going to Seashore this month. We really enjoyed Sunset, the staff, food, beach and feel of the place was great. The rooms are also unique, "cottage on stilts" is how I would describe them. The foliage and gardens are beautiful. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff remember your name and go out of the way to look after you. It was a great place to go to for our first visit to Jamaica. It is not a marble and glitx place if you know what I mean.
This is a small report I made about our trip - http://negril.com/forum/showthread.p...7744#post17744
One of the main reasons we are going to Seashore, other than cost, is to be right on the beach. The walk from your room to the beach at Sunset is very short but we wanted to have a room that we could see the beach from. We also stayed at Rooms last year and had fun on the main beach and wanted to be able to walk it and enjoy the smaller bars and restaurants. The beach at Sunset does not have this as it is limited to the all inclusives.
Hopefully this adds some insight. If you have any specific questions fire away.
