. I've always wondered about Negril Escape. Their rates are pretty low, and it seems like a nice place with all the amenities that we look for.

We stayed there a couple years ago and really liked it. The rooms were 'rustic', but everything worked well enough and we were quite comfortable there. Crappy water pressure the first morning but they quickly fixed it to the point that one could take a serviceable shower. Staff was very nice. I understand they've renovated a bit since we were there. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Thanks for the quick review, jon c. I'm OK with "rustic", as long as the rooms are clean & comfortable and the service is good. I haven't really heard any bad things about Negril Escape, so I think I may put it on my list of places to stay.
