Pumpkin Soup

To start off I want to say I LOVE JAMAICAN PUMPKIN SOUP. I am arriving in Negril in a month and can't wait to have it often.

I am curious to know if pumpkin soup only made during certain seasons? or made more often during specific times?

Also wondering if anyone as suggestions on where to get their favorite bowl of pumpkin soup or any pointers to who makes it more often than others. I would have a bowl every day if I could!!

I have never had a problem getting it any time of the year

My all time favorite is at Ivan's (Catcha) but they don't offer it every night

I never experienced Pumpkin Soup until our wedding dinner at Cocolapalm, now I can't get enough of the stuff!
My mission next month is to try as many Pumpkin Soups as I can and determine which I like best!

The Canadian Government gives grants for things that aren't nearly as important as Pumpkin Soup, I will have to look into this
