How busy is late March in Jamaica?

My wife and I are returning in two weeks. How busy is this time of year? We were last in Negril the first week of December and I was told that was considered "slow". Beaches weren't packed. Shopping was slow

For some reason it seems that, it's still considered a "peak" or winter season, as far as rates go.....with just about all of them dropping just a couple of weeks later...We always travel end of March because that is when our daughter is on break from school. We can ship her off, and fly down for a spell....seems like everything is open, and properties get well booked. We've already been told that both places we are staying are booked full or overbooked for the time we're there(21st-31st)

4-14 dec. pretty quiet but liked it next reach 3/23-4/7 should be pretty busy but will still like it all irie mon !!!
