True dat! However, we stayed at Catcha Gardens and I dealt with her on a daily basis. She really is a nice lady. I gazed upon her goods several times out of respect, yet I made it clear that I had been to Jamaica many, many times and had so much "stuff". Within a few days, she was gazing upon traffic for me to safely cross the street, etc, etc. We became friends without any purchases made. After a few days of her assistance....I gave her a little something for her respect for me. It was all good in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I didn't do it again...but I think she knew that I respected the fact that she wasn't hassling me and I, in return, gave her a likkle something for assisting me on crossing the street safely. We were friends from that point on. Matter of fact, I look forward to seeing her again in December. Funny, but that is one of the things that I love about Negril. There are so many wonderful folks that with time...overstand.
Good friends take time and patience. Give and take!
