I've never been to ja and don't know about driving there... I think my second visit I could handle it
we are going to Negril for our honeymoon....I am thinking it's going to be 5 nights on the cliff and 5 nights on the beach with 3-4 days of renting a car and driving the loop, staying in what ever little hotel/motel we can find.
There is alot of stuff I want to see in one trip and at $180 for 2 people per tour I cant see getting a private driver for them all....we want to head out east from negril and make treasure beach our first night stop...the next day I want to hit up faiths pen on the way to ochio and spend another night/day there....on the way back to negril stop at appelton rum.....will be stopping at all the places along the way ys falls, dunns river, bob marley, etc.
this is our first time on the island....my soon to be wife is kinda not sure about driving ( I cant,no license) but she drives thru chicago like she lives there so I'm sure she can do it......I plan on making a thread on this trip in a couple weeks so i dont jack this thread
Please remember to drive on the left
lol, we spent a hour on that last night.
She thought it would be weird because she thought the driver would be on the shoulder side of the road. She didn't know the wheel is on the other side also![]()
kiki and see how many times she goes to the passenger side to drive
I have done the trip with greg and its an all day tour around the island had a few stop to places like bob marley museum and blue mountain.. it was smooth travelling and lots of enjoyment! i would do it anytime with him again... Greg is really the one to do tours with.
Thank you u Lisa. it was nice having you come to Jamaica and doing tours with me. One Love!
Thanks for the pics! Seeing Kingston from above brings back some fond, although more recent memories too.
Still is a high rent district Cap'n. Felt pretty out of place the last time we were up there.
Sounds like you might have a story or two about doing the Island in a day.
