My full name is actually Larina and my middle name is Kim.

My family and friends have always called me Rina for short.

Whenever I was in trouble as a kid my Mom used to always use the middle name. I can still hear it now ......... RiiiiiiiiiiinaKimmmmmmmmmmm!!

When my son was small he was obsessed with all things Seuss...around that time I was looking for a name to use for my email addr...I have a relatively common name so that was taken...I chose lorax and have been using it ever since...the kid is now set to graduate from college with degrees in journalism and creative writing :-)

A local asked me if it was my first time to Jamaica and I said no it was my 2nd/3rd (can't remember anymore) and he laughed and said, "Ah, you're a Jamerican now!" thus Jamerican1 was born.. besides my normal nickname "Muffin" always gives people the wrong idea.. LOL!!
