We live in Alaska by the Iditarod check point of Skwentna. We are going to Negril this April so we were paying attention to Newton Marshall's progress. Unfortunately for Newton his team got tangled with another and lost his lead dog. Bad for the dog and for Newton,race rules make you stop racing when you loose a dog. The amazing thing is the dog travelled solo back to Big Lake some 300 miles! Quite the feat considering no food and all the critters in between. Good luck next year Newton.
