    seashore beach bay resort questions

    hello,
celebrating a special anniversary so want to stay all inclusive on the beach for our first half of trip before we move to the cliffs.
we like grand pineapple but wanted a bit more upscale. we have stayed at swept away many times but not for a few years and the 650/ night is too high. looking thru trip advisor saw the seashore beach bay resort. have never heard of it nor do i know where it's located any one stay there and would comment . thanks,
    Ed

Walked past it in Feb. Looked very nice. A little bit south of Hedo.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!

    Congrats!
Check out the reviews on Trip Advisor. Also check on the status of the re-construction. We stayed there back in February and thought it was better when it was managed by Beaches. Our 25th anniversary is next year & we are headed to Sandals Negril.

We just came back last week and had a great time. That being said I would not classify it as upscale. The rooms are nice but very dated. The ocean view makes up for the age of the rooms and the staff is very good! They are starting renovations soon as the resort needs it. Some would say not to the extent that is planned.

Sunset At The Palms is more intimate and the food is very good if you are looking for another option for a special stay. The rooms are cabins on stilts so they are not luxurious but large and comfortable. You do have to cross the road to get to the beach but it is not far.
