It's About The Sea Star !

We arrived at the Sea Star late and were tired and hungry.
The kitchen was quick to solve our hunger and it was so good. I just love the buns they use for the sandwiches, yummy.
After a drink or two at the bar it was off to bed.

Early everyday the staff set up the little breakfast table and the people stroll into the dining area to get the best treat of the day. .....Morining HUGS.
Yes the staff have a way of making everyone welcome and missed. They greet all the guest here with a big smile and a hug...lol

I'd like to state right now I'm not a cliff person, I love the beach. We choose to stay here because of the staff and it's a great place to eaze into the sun and just slow down to island speed.

CaptD was one of the first boardies we met this reach and have seen him about a couple of times as he's trying to sort out some water pump problems at his project site. Very nice guy , but I don't think this is much of a vacation as it is a work trip for him.

Up Date on Shaky ( for all who no him).
I am happy to report some Great People from the Sea Star have been busy helping him get a HOUSE of his own, Yes a place were he will be safe and taken care of for the rest of his life. How Cool is That.
He has work to be done and several people have been helping finish off the tile work. Big Up.
He has a TV and everything, as he tells me with so much joy.
His place has good locks and a gate, so his stuff will also be safe.
It's a stones throw from the front gate so he's always looked after too.


Tonight is Saturday so this Sea Star party is on. I
If you've never been your missing the best time you can find on a Saturday in Negril.
Rob and Lisa will be there from Real Negril. com for the broadcast and we'll give ya a shout out on the camera...lol

Rasta Stan...ask Chris, or even Rob, for that matter....if three is a charm, or will the power hold out this Saturday...on thw 23rd(Sat) in the MIDDLE of the webcast/show...the lights went out....Chris and his staff did a bang up job to get the generators going, but in the mean time the band was relieved early by the presence of the Seastar drummers...who rescued the vibe with the "power" of the beat...seems the whole west end lost power that night, and in the morning we saw on t.v. that it was global "earth out", or some such thing, which....I DO BELIEVE was a major coincidence...Anyway the NEXT Saturday, we were shopping at Times Square and POOF, power goes out at like 2pm(Times Square has no gennies, btw)..we were told by our hotel's GM that something had happened and taken the WHOLE ISLAND out...possibly a power plant incident....we were thinking..hey, we fly out in the a.m.(well, maybe not)...No such good fortune..power was back by morning..We were also thinking, if THIS is the apocolyptic event that those preppers on TV talk of, what a nice place to be stuck for the rest of our natural lives!!!!...Maybe the lights will hold out tonight!

Thanks for sharing the great news about Shakey. Such a sweet heart he is and that smile! When we saw him in December he looked soooooo good and as always was so happy. If you see him around Seastar buy him a Pepsi and take him out on the dance floor.....two of his favorite things! What a sweet kid! So good to see him doing well and for all the folks at Seastar that look out for him....awesome!
