The point i was making is that when i go to a country, i don't expect that country to adapt to my palate. When I think of Jamaica, i think white sand, reggae music, the beach, etc. Not Russian cuisine. Nothing is wrong with Russian Cuisine, Italian, Asian, American, Spanish, or other Caribbean cuisine. But to expect it is another story. I guess the fact that i live in a place where you can get it all, makes Jamaica special to me. No hate. Just don't want to vacate to another NYC. I love Jamaica just the way it is.
