    Exchange rate.

The canoe thread of 93:1 for happy hour made me remember our fist trip to jamaica... The exchange rate according to an old slip I have was 37:1... And I bet I still have coins left from that trip somewhere.

Looked on line this am, exchange (through ex) is 97..49:1

I think at this rate I will soon be able to do the math in my head, no matter the condition...

I found some old Jamaican coins the other day - 25 cent pieces. They are worth a lot !

I've got some Jamaican 1 and 2 dollar bills from way back. They mean more as souvenirs.

Here's a question that someone might be able to answer. We're confused about how change works in Jamaica. All the coins/bills are in whole dollars but sometimes we see cents on our bill. How does this work? For example you get a bill for $623.09? there are no coins that are a fraction of dollar so how can this be?
