I wonder if they meant that the hotel was under construction? We were there in February 2012, the bar was there, the mineral pool, they were serving lunch and the mineral hole was there. Waba is the owner/manager and was very proud....the hotel was under construction at that time; he offered a tour but we didnt take him up on it. Honestly, we had such a great time there, in hindsight we would have cancelled our second half of our day trip (Pelican Bar) and spent the whole day lounging by the pool at the Blue Hole.
