Scotchie,s is excellent, but the wrong direction when heading to Negril. i have a hard time even to stop for a Redstripe, just wanna get there.
Trip #59 most of February
There is this guy, a Rasta, set on the side of the road, closer to Mobay then Negril. He has no sign. Just him, a small little lean-two amongst some trees squeezed in between the roadway and the small cliff/beach. He has soup for a few hours, some roasted yam, sometimes breadfruit, and always a little salt fish....man thinking about that just put a smile on my face...thanks for asking,....his soup is amazing. If there is a bit of smoke coming from the little burner then he has some food left...lol...I'm always on the lookout at the side of the road when I know he is going to be near, both going to and from the airport but I couldn't tell you where, lol. He sells out so quickly, usually only open for a few hours....

yea scotchies is east of Mobay but well worth the trouble, if you're so inclined.....Most of the time after flying I just want to get to Negril, so I will starve till I get to Negril !!!

Make sure you offer your driver something where ever you go.
Bigga's also has great soup.
