    Negril.com Boardie Bash & St. Anthony's Kitchen

    Morning Greetings from Jamaica!

BIG thanks to Rob and everyone else who participates in the Annual Boardie Bash. The party day is drawing near.... and many are very excited to celebrate!

This year a 'special' addition will be part of the Boardie Bash - St. Anthony's Kitchen will be accepting donations - a 'bin' will be available to leave any items you may think the Kitchen could use - such as: clothing, shoes, non perishable food items, etc. If you'd prefer to give a cash donation, Fr. Jim will be there to accept these.

Come out and Party.... celebrate all the wonderful things Negril.com does for Jamaica.... meet old & new friends and help out St. Anthony's Kitchen all at the same time

    Blessings!

    Attention Katharine,

I tried to reply to yr private message, but it says yr inbox is full and it couldn't be sent....

Thanks for yr offer of children's books. Yes the Kitchen could use them, or the church and also another great organization falling under the same 'family' is Wise Choice Tutoring, an adult litteracy program.

All of them can use books Maybe better to drop them off at the Catholic Church very close to the Wild Parrot, on another day... instead of bringing them to the Boardie Bash - but that's up to you.

    Thanks again for yr support!
    Look forward to meeting you!

Re: Negril.com Boardie Bash & St. Anthony's Kitchen

I'm happy to be apart of the Boardie Bash! Glad you put me onto this website, Rob! We have had wonderful volunteers at the Kitchen and have received a lot of things to support the Kitchen, the thrift shop and the school children. This morning at our 10:00 a.m. Mass I was moving around the church greeting folks and a guy looked at me with this nice smile and said, "I'm Weathermon...and this is MiLady." I met them here on the Board and it was so cool to meet them in person. They volunteered at the Kitchen with other Boardie folks and after Mass went out of their way to find Ms. Pearl. A great treat on my Sunday morning. Sadly, they leave Negril on Wednesday and will miss the Bash! So it goes! --Fr. Jim
