Egg Lifter Mystery solved!

[St. Anthony's Kitchen]

After a volunteer visit to St. Anthony's Kitchen by Weathermon, MiLady, Rasta Stan, Patty and some others, they provided a wish list here from Ms. Pearl the cook. One item was an egg lifter. Many of you who replied to the thread had various guesses. Well, today I asked Ms. Pearl, "What in the hell is an egg lifter." After a few laughs and the locals wondering why a well educated guy from the USA would not know the answer to such a simple question...Auntie Pun went over to the rack where kitchen items hang and lifted up---ready?---a spatula! Well it makes sense! Isn't language interesting--and fun!

By the way, the big item on their list is a food processor! Maybe someone would like to bring one to the Boardie Bash Friday! Or maybe a few Boardies would team up and put some funds together and I'll buy one for them. Looking forward to meeting you Friday! --Fr. Jim

As it relates to the food processor, would you be so kind as to advise us if someone or some group does in fact purchase the food processor. If not, as we discussed we would try to purchase one when we are next in Negril, probably have to buy while in Mobay or go to Sav.
