Ehhhh don't get me started.. I don't support his so called reincarnation.. I don't believe it's true from his heart.. And it's just another gimmick to sell more music.. His ass is getting old and needed something fresh
If u want a listen of the album check utube u can preview the album there.. I did listen with an open mind despite my feelings about him .. I think It sucks, I love reggae and don't consider that reggae..
I won't leave a link for utube but instead leave a link for some interesting insight on snoops thought and word..

Worth a read
Just read the interview. Awful he would speak about bunny wailer like that. I listened to a few excerpts and the cd did not do too much for mr
I watched the movie hoping it'd be a lot about Jamaica and his experiences.. Sadly it was more of a documentary on snoop and his love affair with Nate dogg lol
Haven't heard the CD but saw him live last month at our city's annual St. Paddy's day festival. He was billed as Snoop Dogg but did perfom a few Snoop Lion songs from the new CD. I thought they were pretty bad as did the rest of our group of drunks.
He was on the Live with Kelly & Michael show yesterday morning and performed a song from the new reggae CD. I think it was worse than than what I remember from the St. Paddy's Day festival...then again, I wasn't plastered at 9am yesterday so my point of reference may be skewed.
Harsh....he is one of the few rap artists that I actually like.Give the man a chance.
love snoop LION'S music . . . rasta influences most of us visitors --- got my dose years ago ... will always be in my heart - RASTAFARI!
I think it is no "conspiracy" that Snoop rhymes with poop.Jamaicans aren’t so sure. Writing in the Jamaica Observer, Barbara Gloudon goes after the American star: “Rapper Snoop Doggy Dog has decided to go Rasta, in costume at least, maybe to save a career which naw sey nutten right now. So he’s converted from Dawg to Lion, and nuff Rasta colors to go with it. Try yuh best Snoops! It takes more than a costume to make a Lion in Zion.”
Meanwhile, reader comments on a piece from the Jamaica Gleaner were equally biting. “I like Snoop,” says one, “but his attempt at Reggae is horrible, he needs to stick to that which is familiar to him.”
Another: “It is just another case of Reggae robbery.”

Trip #59 most of February
I really hope no one buys his album! I cant believe he spoke down to Bunny Wailer like that! I truly think became a "rasta" for commercial appeal. Every since the Marleys gave him "their" blessing, Snoop thinks he is the best thing ever![]()
