Last year I was in Negril the last week of October and that shrew, Sandy, drove me out 2 days into my vacation. I booked another trip for this year, 2 wks later, as soon as I landed in the states!

Mmm. Melody is right. Hurricane season does end Nov 30. Not sure where I got the idea that it ended in October. About 75% of pur jamaican trips are in November (we go for anniversary) so maybe I've been fooling myself.
Sorry for the misinformation though. I can say I've never seen a November hurricane on the island over the course of eleven trips that time of year.
