Im in the market for a new comp, what would be a great computer for travel to the tropics that is of good value and performance for the money? And one that will stand up to the abuse of spilt red stripes and party party, Salt air and moisture, banging around on da planes ect?. And Is their more maintenance needed for comps in the tropics or on the rock?.Rob you gotta wipe your stuff down to keep from rusting? jajajajaj.

I have an ASUS K53E - Aluminum body, 2 year spill and drop warranty. I travel constantly and work in sometimes harsh environments (water and wastewater plants) and this little baby does the job. Handles the humidity, the cold, the heat... best one I've had yet.
