I need some suggestions. We are bringing a friend to Jamaica with us next year and are on separate flights. We will have our 6yo with us and our flights gets in an hour 15 minutes before his. Is there any place at the airport where we can sit and have lunch while we wait for him? We fly in on Delta.
15 mins apart......you might end up meeting in customs/immigration.
But if not, as you exit the airport (the side for private drivers and taxis), there is an outdoor restaurant called Groovy Grouper. It's a perfect place to meet.
Haha that's true but she said an Hour & 15mins...in some cases she still might meet up with them lol!

Yes, Jamerican71 has good advice...out to the right where the private taxi's pick you up, then right again to the Groovy Grouper...just hang and have a beer and a patty...No problem. It's open air (covered) so they will see you right away :-)

The Groovy Grouper is expensive!!! In March the Red Stripes were $5.50 US and I recently read somewhere they are now $6.25. Jump in a cab and go get some lunch at the Pork Pit towards the end of the Hip Strip...5 minute drive tops and wonderful Jerk food. You might even negotiate with a driver to take you to lunch and then use him for the trip to Negril after you pick up your friends back at MBJ.
