supply and demand....when I got to the mobay airport saturday, true story, we checked in, did all we had to do, and then had an hour or so before our flight...well, they dont allow liquids (wata, ting, juice) thru security, but will sell it to u once u get thru....go to the DQ and wife orders a diet coke and a minute maid juice, both 20 oz bottles, and it was 6.50....same thing was 1.90 this morning in negril....talk about rip off, but supply and demand, we still bought them, because we we thirsty and they had cut off our other options....
so back to bella donnas....if everyone ordered beers thinking they were 2-3 dollars like all the stops are, and then find out they are higher, that is a bit deceptive...if they are told they are 5 in advance, then u have the chance to order one or turn and walk away....when we stopped at bella donnas a couple years ago on the crawl, we were served pizza, it was good pizza, but were surprised with a bill for each piece we ate, she even tried to charge some who didnt eat...now the only thing about that, cuz i expect to pay for what i eat, is that the other two places that served snacks on that crawl (choices and another place) didnt charge, up to u to leave a tip, which I did...so most thought bella donna was the same way...i was gonna leave a tip anyway, so it came out the same, but the bill was a surprise...
negotiate before u particiapate....no hidden surprises....
