Ok so I'm wondering who else on the board starts the thinking process for their next reach while on the flight going home? Such as packing less,packing more etc. we just got home on April 23 and I have already started next years first pile!

I checked flight prices when I was in Negril just in case they were low (fat chance). Once home I wash all of my clothes and then put my "Negril" ones on top of my suitcase so I don't have to go running around for them later - LOL

This time I was lucky enough to have one already booked.
Usually when I am on the plane I think about the following
My Dog - Adopted him when he was 6 weeks old, when I was attending my second senior year of college.
My Bed - Normally I am staying at a place that's cheap with crappy beds.
My Shower - See Above.
Then I start thinking about work, and my cubicle. Then immediatly after that, I think about throwing myself off the Ben Franklin Bridge.
not much planning to do...just take out dirty laundry, replace with clean...the rest is the same in each bag....it was
our "bug-out" bag..as some times our trips were on a 3-4 day notice.......if its not expensive we just leave what we packed for 2 or 3 times and dont ever use it.........it made its last trip, it stayed there

Back to topic... We actually book our next vacation while on vacation... The hotel was already mostly paid for for this years trip before we were even halfway through the last trip, so... You are not alone.

Me Me Me! the plane ride back home is dreadful hate to leave everytime! and I think about what I woulda coulda shoulda done and once I reach home it usually take mi a week or so to return to reality then another week or so to unpack then on to planning for the next high...(In that order)..lol
Having another trip booked or planning one when leaving helps to ease the pain of leaving! We're lucky enough to have our NY trip booked, but we're still talking about going back next April...
